Recently was looking for a utility that will monitor particular directory for specific files and do some action on it once it find such file. for example trigger a script once the logs are generated.

and found an extremely handy tool named "FSNIPPER"

fsniper is a utility that waits for a file to be changed, then executes a command on that file.
